Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Head of Revenue to drive our sales strategy in the USA, UK, and EU. Based in Johannesburg, this role focuses on scaling international sales, optimizing strategy, and leading a growing team of Business Development Associates, Business Development Managers, and Marketing. Proven success in these markets is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
xefx82xb7 Define and refine the sales strategy for international markets, focusing on the USA, UK, and EU.
xefx82xb7 Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy addressing market-specific needs and growth opportunities.
xefx82xb7 Set and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring the company's revenue goals are met and exceeded.
xefx82xb7 Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to align commercial activities with overall business goals.
Team Leadership & Development:
xefx82xb7 Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team, including Business Development Executives and Business Development Managers.
xefx82xb7 Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance management to ensure individual and team success.
xefx82xb7 Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture within the sales team.
Customer Acquisition & Growth:
xefx82xb7 Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target international markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives.
xefx82xb7 Oversee the development of tailored proposals and pitches that address client needs and showcase the brand's unique value proposition.
xefx82xb7 Implement efficient onboarding and client management processes to drive customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
Market Expansion & Business Development:
xefx82xb7 Identify new market trends, opportunities, and challenges in international logistics and compliance.
xefx82xb7 Develop partnerships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and strategic partners to increase market
penetration.
xefx82xb7 Actively represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to build brand visibility and
credibility.
Sales Operations & Performance:
xefx82xb7 Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent and transparent reporting on sales performance and progress.
xefx82xb7 Implement sales processes and tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
xefx82xb7 Ensure that sales activities comply with all relevant regulations and internal policies.Key Qualifications & Experience:
xefx82xb7 10+ years of sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in logistics, compliance, or a related field.
xefx82xb7 Proven success in selling into international markets, particularly the USA, UK, and EU.
xefx82xb7 Strong leadership skills with a track record of building, mentoring, and scaling sales teams.
xefx82xb7 Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing market conditions.
xefx82xb7 Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills at the executive level.
xefx82xb7 Knowledge of logistics, tax compliance, and supply chain management is highly desirable.
