Role Overview:
As the Chief Risk Officer, reporting to the Group Managing Director, you'll spearhead the establishment of our Group Risk Management framework in line with global standards. Your responsibilities will include articulating risk management policies, defining risk acceptance criteria, and overseeing risk management functions across all entities. You'll play a pivotal role in monitoring and managing our risk profile at both group and subsidiary levels.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate Group Risk Management policies and strategies
• Establish infrastructure and processes for identifying, managing, and reporting risks
• Define risk acceptance criteria and tolerance limits at group and entity levels
• Oversee Risk Management functions across all entities, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Provide visionary leadership and direction for the group, promoting corporate core values and commitment to objectives
• Foster career development for direct reports and cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 17 years of post-qualification experience in risk management within Banking or Financial Services industry
• At least 10 years of experience in the Banking Sector, with 10 years at a senior management level
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, financial regulations, and risk management standards
• Strategic orientation, creativity, and innovation in policy development and management
• Financial acumen, with expertise in finance, accounting, and banking industry practices
• Formal training in Banking Laws/Regulations, with a relevant Master's Degree considered an advantage
