Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a dedicated Chief Surveyor to join their prominent mining company located in Mpumalanga. As the Chief Surveyor, you will oversee all surveying activities on-site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the efficient operation of survey processes in the mining sector.Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of surveyors
- Ensure compliance with all mining and surveying legislation and regulations
- Oversee surveys to provide accurate data for mine development activities
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure collaboration and data accuracy
- Develop and implement surveying procedures and best practices
- Prepare and review survey reports and documentation
- Monitor equipment and technology used in surveying tasks
- Grade 12
- Degree/Diploma in Surveying or a related field
- Certificate: Advanced Mine Surveying
- Mine Surveyors Certificate of Competency
- Management Development Programme
- 10 years' experience in the mining industry.
- Registered with a professional body
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
