To manage the technical services division.
Key Responsibility AreasManagement of staff.
Preparing council documentation, issuing enquiries and forwarding recommendation report for selected project works.
Undertakes administration functions.
Approving service orders and outside purchase requisitions within approved limitations.
Liaises with outside bodies e.g. consultants, contractors etc with regards to technical matters affecting project progress.
Ensuring that all projects are completed in accordance with specifications.
Managing and supervision of project teams within the department.
Monitoring workflow, progress and outputs.
Verify materials used verses requisitioned on short term contracts.
Undertakes related assignments.

Essential RequirementsBachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering Technology (NQF Level 7) in Civil
Engineering.
Registered as a Professional Civil Engineering Technologist with the Engineering Council of
South Africa (ECSA).
Valid motor vehicle driving license
5 Years post registration experience
Computer Literacy.
