Job Description

Must have experience in performing the below duties:

• Process Optimization: Analyze manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
• Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and waste reduction techniques to streamline operations and improve workflow.
• Six Sigma Projects: Lead or assist in Six Sigma projects to reduce defects and variability in production processes, ensuring higher quality and consistency.
• Data Analysis: Use data analytics to assess key performance indicators (KPIs), production rates, downtime, and other metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify the underlying causes of production issues or inefficiencies and develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Cost Reduction: Work closely with the finance and operations teams to develop cost-saving initiatives, monitor savings, and track the ROI of implemented changes.
• Standard Work Development: Develop and maintain standard work procedures, work instructions, and training materials to ensure consistency across operations.
• Employee Training: Train production teams and staff on lean methodologies, CI techniques, and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, quality control, and supply chain, to drive improvement projects and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Project Management: Manage or support multiple continuous improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, with regular updates provided to leadership.
• Technology Implementation: Evaluate and introduce new technologies or automation to enhance production processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all CI initiatives comply with industry safety regulations, environmental policies, and company standards.
