Job Description
Our client in the beautiful Patensie in the Eastern Cape (Gamtoos Valley) is looking for an experienced Farm ManagerResponsibilities:
- Effective workforce management
- Management of diseases and pests
- Water management and pruning of trees
- Establish new orchards
- Practical maintenance
- Matric
- Agriculture or any other qualification will be beneficial
- Basic computer literacy in MS Office (excel, outlook, word) and internet usage
- Minimum 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in citrus/vegetables/fruit farming
- Experience in Crop spraying, harvesting, Slashing & Irrigation
- At least 3 years experience managing people
- Organizing and planning skills
- Resilient
- Energetic
- Quality orientated
- Team Player
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to work well in a team
