Job Description
Addo Area xe2x80x93 Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for a Citrus Senior Farm Manager to join the team.
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Appropriate experience in a senior management role specific to the citrus industry
- Suitable qualification(s) w.r.t citrus farm management
- Strong management, leadership, and administration skills
- Must have intermediate computer literacy skills
- Citrus knowledge relevant to the Sundays' River Valley will be advantageous
- Must be mentorship, training and upliftment orientated
- In depth market access and legislative knowledge (LRA, BCEA, SIZA, GlobalG.A.P etc.)
- Ability to identify and resolve problems as they arise
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Ability to motivate employees
- Monitoring the implementation of projects and ensuring timely completion thereof
- Must have basic farm mechanical knowledge and experience
- Suitable experience with farm budgets, costing and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels
