We are seeking an innovative, enthusiastic and self-motivated Civil Design Engineer/Technologist

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS
B. Eng / BTech Eng (ECSA Registration is beneficial) 5 - 10 years' experience, with experience in municipal infrastructure design and building environment Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects Proficient and competent in the following software packages: AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Civil Designer, SWMM, EPANET, GIS and BIM Strong communication skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Design of municipal services, including preparation of relevant documentation, and contract / administration monitoring Produce technical deliverables for the design and implementation of roads, stormwater services, sewer services, water services, ducting services and bulk earthworks Prepare Bills of Quantities and technical project specifications in line with the relevant SANS codes and COLTO Good knowledge of local and provincial authority approval processes would be advantageous Compilation of Feasibility Study Reports, Technical Reports and Tender Evaluation Reports Preparation of construction contract documentation (GCC, FIDIC and JBCC), cost estimates and experience in procurement processes Conducting site inspections and leading site meetings Construction monitoring, contract administration and processing of payment certificates Prepare as-built drawings and close-out reports Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to problems/challenges Interaction with Clients
