Job Summary Our client is looking for a driven professional that will oversee the bridge team, managing the design process for projects, allocating resources for projects, and ensuring adherence to project budgets. This role involves designing bridges and related road structural elements, demonstrating the ability to work independently with efficient time management, and leading a design team under pressure. Additionally, the candidate is expected to assist in preparing proposals, engage in technical report writing, conduct feasibility studies as required by Project Managers, and exhibit entrepreneurial qualities with a high level of business acumen The role also involves managing the design process of projects, ensuring adherence to project budgets, assisting in proposal preparation, contributing to report writing and conducting feasibility studies as required by Project Mangers Skills & Experience: The ideal candidate should possess over three years of experience in Bridge Design and demonstrate proficiency in Finite Element Design Software, including Revit, Sofistik, Prokon, and AutoCAD Familiarity with SANRAL processes would be advantageous Additional advantageous qualifications include experience in Bridge Draughting, design of bridges or similar structural engineering design, and expertise in contract administration, including the preparation of Contract Documentation, specifications, and schedules of quantities Qualification: BSc (Civil Engineering), or BTech (Civil/Structural Engineering) Pr Eng or Pr Tech (ECSA) registration (an added advantage) Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered Contact Nonku Ndzondo on
