Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Draughtsman. As a Civil Draughtsman, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate and detailed technical drawings for civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of civil engineering principles.Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for civil engineering projects, including buildings, roads, bridges, and infrastructure.
- Interpret and review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other data to prepare accurate drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards in all drawings.
- Revise drawings as necessary based on feedback from project stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates and material take-offs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting technology and software.
- Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Civil Draughtsman, preferably in a construction or engineering firm.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
