Civil Draughtsman (Civil 3D) - SandtonFull job descriptionA Civil Draughtsman, also known as a Civil Draftsperson or Civil CAD Technician, specializing in creating technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects and to provide training and support to the team. The role is crucial to the design and construction process by translating the ideas and specifications of engineers and architects into detailed drawings that can be used for construction, analysis, and documentation purposes.Drafting and Design: using Civil3D software to create accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for civil engineering projects.Collaboration: To collaborate closely with our team of architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that client requirements are met in alignment with our SLA and up to the correct standards drawings and are in accordance with project requirements. They may attend meetings and provide technical input or suggestions when necessary.Technical Support: They may provide technical support to clients and within the team and responding to queries or clarifications related to specifications.We are searching for a candidate who typically possess strong technical and analytical skills, proficiency in the software, knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, and an understanding of relevant building codes and regulations.
