Job Summary Developing comprehensive project plans, encompassing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation Coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams, such as architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure timely completion of project deliverables within budget and in adherence to quality standards Proactively managing project risks by identifying potential issues and developing contingency plans to mitigate risks Ensuring strict compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout project execution Thoroughly prepare and review project proposals, contracts, and other related documentation Conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure alignment with project plans and specifications Maintaining meticulous project documentation, including progress reports, budget summaries, and change requests Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and cost savings and presenting recommendations to senior management Facilitating regular project team meetings, providing guidance, and offering support to team members Ensuring transparent communication with all project stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and any adjustments to the project plan Skills & Experience: Five (5) years of the experience should be in the Project Management environment across the entire life cycle of large-scale multi-disciplinary projects from scoping studies through to execution of EPCM, detailed design/ engineering, procurement and construction and commissioning Registration as a Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr. CPM) with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) with a minimum of five (5) years relevant post-certification practical experience Qualification: BSc/BEng Degree or BTech Civil Registered with ECSA/SACPQSP as a Professional Registered with SACPCMP (PrCPM essential) Registered with PMI (PMP advantageous) Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
