Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Bulk Sanitation Engineer to join their team in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal. In this role, you will play a key role in the detailed design of bulk sanitation projects, including:
- Gravity sewerage networks, trunk outfall sewers, pressurized pipelines, and pump stations
- Wastewater treatment plants
- Preparation of detailed design reports, proposals, and feasibility studies
- Leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams
- Utilizing digital workflows and BIM (Building Information Modeling)
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Eng. or B.Sc.)
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in bulk sanitation design.
- Professional registration as a Pr.Eng. with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa).
- Experience with computational design tools and hydraulic analysis software (EPANET, EPASWMM, advanced hydraulic analysis software).
- Proficiency in BIM tools (Revit, Civil 3D) and experience with BIM implementation strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of surge analysis software (KYPipe, OpenFlows, HAMMER).
