Job Description
Experience and Skills:The candidate must:Have a relevant Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or similar;
- Have an interest in civil, water and environmental engineering;
- Have strong organizational and time management skills;
- Work as a part of a team, providing support where it is required and demonstrating effective communication;
- Be resourceful, with good initiative and the ability to work independently;
- Be willing to work across disciplines and to develop a diverse skill set;
- Possess good written and communication skills (in English);
- Be able to approach and analyse complex engineering problems;
- Be proficient at MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
- Have a desire to learn and grow, and to quickly develop skills associated with the engineering field.
- Full CV covering experience to date (if any);
- School results and University transcripts;
- Reference from your course convenor / supervisor;
- Final year research project abstract;
- Final year design project description;
- Vacation work summary; and
- Copy of South African ID.
