Job Description
To provide assistance to the Branch management and professional staff in ensuring that the design and construction of water and sanitation services and infrastructure are technically sound and economically justifiable in terms of relevant policies and legislation.
Key Responsibility AreasProvide technical support to the project design engineers.
- Assist in the design of the various elements associated with water conveyance and wastewater conveyance and disposal.
- Interact with the other organisations and affected parties.
- Provide technical supervision of routine contracts.
- Assist with the input to correspondence and estimates for submission to the Area Project Engineer.
- Assist with the checking of developers submissions for compliance with the Departments design criteria specifications for the provision of sewer and water reticulation to proposed major developments.
