Claims Handler - Umhlanga (Must be Fully Qualified , RE5, FAIS Compliant)Our client is seeking a highly skilled Claims Specialist to manage both commercial and personal lines insurance claims. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring claims are handled efficiently, fairly, and in compliance with policy terms. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and have solid experience in claims management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Duties & ResponsibilitiesClaims ProcessingManage claims from initial notification through to settlement, ensuring efficiency and professionalismAssess, validate, and process claims for both commercial and personal lines of insuranceInvestigate complex claims, including liability assessments and causation investigationsCoordinate third-party services such as adjusters, assessors, and lawyersClient and Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary contact for claimants, offering guidance and providing regular updatesWork with underwriters, brokers, and clients to ensure a seamless claims processManage relationships with key stakeholders, including assessors, brokers, and service providersProvide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely issue resolutionClaims Risk and AnalysisAnalyze claims data to identify trends, risks, and potential fraudPrepare detailed reports on claims outcomes and trends for managementMonitor claims for potential litigation or disputes, recommending appropriate actionsCompliance & RegulatoryEnsure compliance with all regulatory and company policiesMaintain accurate, up-to-date records in the claims management systemAdhere to industry standards and regulations, including Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Data ProtectionDesired Experience & QualificationEducational (non- negotiable) - Candidates without the below will NOT be consideredRE5 CertificationFAIS Compliant (NQF L4 / NQF L5 in short-term insurance / 120 credits)Experience3-5 years of claims management experience (commercial and personal lines)Strong knowledge of claims processes, insurance policies, and product coverageBinder experience - Non negotiableExperience in handling complex and high-value claimsIf you are an experienced Claims Specialist with a strong background in both commercial and personal lines, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact.
