Job Summary The MultiChoice Group is a multinational media and entertainment group headquartered in South Africa, Dubai and the Netherlandsxc3x82 with principal operations in pay television, video entertainment, advertising and content security. Brands within the Group include DStv,xc3x82 GOtv, SuperSport, M-Net, DStv Media Sales, Showmax and European-based content security leader Irdeto. xc3x82 Key areas of operations are: xc3xa2-xc2xaa Determine validity of claim and escalation where necessary xc3xa2-xc2xaa Apply policy and procedure when handling claims. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Appropriate and timely resolution of claims. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Appropriately communicate settlement outcome to policyholderbeneficiary. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Appropriately keep records of all items related to a claim. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Obtain and examine relevant information to validate the claim. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Investigate and resolve claim exceptions and queries. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Where required, accurately draft a settlement letter and submit it for management approval.xc3x82 xc3xa2-xc2xaa Ensure claim outcome is fair and follows regulatory guideline xc3xa2-xc2xaa Demonstrate treating customers fairly through resolution of claims. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Act in the best interest of the customer and the company. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Adoptable to changes or new developments in the company and industry. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Effect and maintain SLA. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Ad-hoc activities as required to achieve business objectives Experience/Skills, Qualification xc3xa2-xc2xaa Grade 12Matric xc3xa2-xc2xaa Previous claims handling experience (advantageous) xc3xa2-xc2xaa Previous experience as a representative on FSP license (advantageous) xc3xa2-xc2xaa PC Literate xc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x80x9c Basic understanding and use of Microsoft suite xc3xa2-xc2xaa Bilingual (Advantageous) xc3xa2-xc2xaa Work well under pressure. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Must be deadline-driven and complete tasks within given timelines. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Performance driven. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Strong service ethic. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Administrative. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Goal-oriented. xc3xa2-xc2xaa Knowledge and experience in dealing with insurance products (beneficial) xc3xa2-xc2xaa MultiChoice business policies, general billing rules, and understanding of Clarity/ICC (beneficial) xc3xa2-xc2xaa Knowledge and understanding of Treating Customer Fairly (TCF) Outcomes (beneficial)Ison XperiencesCompany
