OPPORTUNITYSantam's Motor Claims has a position available for a Claims Service Consultant that will be based in Parktown, Hill on Empire.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe purpose of this position is to process and register all the Claims and get them ready for an assessor to be appointed. The CSC will be responsible for all queries on the claim. This will include communication with the client, Intermediary and or Service Provider.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Co Insurance and Aggregate claims.
  • Required to check completeness and correctness of documents.
  • Responsible for all actions to get claim assessment ready.
  • Handle complaints, queries and all interaction with clients, Intermediaries, Service Providers, internal stakeholders, Relationship Managers, Claims Committee and Underwriters.
  • Register claims within agreed service level agreements.
  • Ensure accuracy of data captured on Santam and Broker systems.
  • Ensure that claims are registered against the correct policy section based on the information provided.
  • Liaise with brokers.
  • Correction of errors/data that are identified on claims already registered.
  • Send infographics to client's once claim is registered.
  • Upload claim documents to document storage.
  • Generate documents from broker system where required.
  • Schedule claims to Desktop team (if necessary).
QUAILIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Matric
  • 2 - 4 years' claims experience
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong client orientation
  • Fully computer literate (MS Office)

  • Ability to verify and interpret policy and appraisal detail
  • Good communication skills
