Read on!!!Aon South Africa is recruiting a Client Manager in our Aon Global Client Network (AGCN) department, based on a hybrid basis, from our offices in Sandton.The role of the Client Manager is to build and improve day to day client relationships, manage portfolios of client accounts and provide technical expertise to less experienced employees.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeResponsible for leading, developing and improving the day to day client relationshipsResponsible for the AGCN portfolio clients and manages and co-ordinates all related activities including building a client profile of risks and needs analysisPrepares pre-renewal documents and arranges to meet with clients, including sending renewal notifications to clients, as well as cancellation letters (where applicable)Structures an insurance programmes to meet these needs including producing client documentation (including policy documents and claims statistics), leading or contributing to renewal meetings and leading or contributing to fee negotiationsResponsible for coordinating and servicing outwards business. The split between inward and outward business shall be agreed to with the Business Unit Manager.Responsible for maintaining and improving client satisfaction, retention, revenue and profitabilityEngage and troubleshoot Multinational service delivery issues that could impact existing and future client opportunities.Partner with local and network account teams on jeopardy and prospective client opportunities.Work to achieve growth (5%) and retention (95%) targets for Aon South Africa.Provide Quarterly revenue reports to Business Unit Manager, including details of revenue directed to the office on inward business generated in country and multi-country revenue opportunities secured via the AGCN.Ensure correct and consistent use of reporting tools and technology to capture multinational opportunities. (i.e. SFDC)Attending to client complaints and escalating to Business Unit Head/Legal and Compliance where necessary.Contributes into the development of new business with either existing or new clients - spots opportunities for increasing revenue and follows up appropriatelyActs as a support to Senior Client Manager/ Business Unit Head on larger, more complex accountsResponsible for credit control in respect of both the local premium and the global fees.
