We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to service a portfolio of payroll clients in Evolution, our cloud accounting department, to begin on 1 May 2025. The successful candidate will have at least two years outsourced payroll experience, is adept at managing a portfolio of at least 50 payrolls, values high standards, and is committed to quality.

Minimum Requirements
Work Experience:
2-3 years experience managing a portfolio of payroll clients
Minimum level of Education/ Qualifications Required:
Matric/Payroll qualification
Proficiency with payroll software systems (Payspace, SimplePay,and/or Paysoft would be an advantage)
Sound understanding of payroll and tax regulations
Personal Attributes
Meticulous with sound numeracy skills
Excellent communication skills
Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information

Duties and Responsibilities
Key
performance areas include:
Overseeing the full client payroll function
Managing a portfolio of payroll clients
Processing salaries (weekly, bi-weekly and monthly) - approximately 50 payrolls, ranging from 1 to 100 employees
Employees Tax calculations and structuring
Tax Directives
Dealing with SARS, Workman's Compensation and UIF queries
Annual Returns WCA
Annual Returns EMP501 (electronic and manual on EasyFile)
Monthly EMP201 and Bargaining Council Returns
Reporting: Statutory and specific reports requested by clients
Attending to payroll registrations: PAYE, SDL and UIF, WCA and UIF with the Department of Labour
Client Communication
* Ensuring payroll software is kept up to date and in line with changes in legislation
