Job Summary Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and extroverted Key Account Manager to join a company in the petroleum industry, specifically focusing on diesel and fuel energy products.
The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of the fuel industry, a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with major wholesalers, and the expertise to conduct thorough market research to drive business growth.Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, primarily major wholesalers in the fuel industry.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
  • Regularly meet with clients to understand their business goals and align them with company offerings.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive research on potential clients and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Understand the target market, including the specific needs and challenges faced by wholesalers in the fuel industry.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Develop an expert understanding of the companys diesel and fuel energy products, including technical specifications and market applications.
  • Communicate product features and benefits effectively to clients, ensuring they understand how the products meet their specific needs.
  • Sales and Negotiation:
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of service with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, market trends, and sales performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities, and contracts in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the petroleum or energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of the fuel industry, particularly in diesel products and their applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and analyze market data.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
