Role Purpose
As an Institutional Client Support Specialist, you will leverage your expertise in institutional investments and in-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including Know Your Client (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and FICA, to fulfill a critical administrative function. The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the seamless onboarding of clients while maintaining the highest levels of regulatory compliance and data integrity. In addition, you will play a key role in building and nurturing strong, professional relationships with institutional clients--ensuring clear communication, trust, and exceptional service delivery throughout their lifecycle.

Legal or compliance qualification will be
Experience in client servicing/reporting.
5 years investments / financial services with at least 3 years' experience in an Anti- Mony laundering (AML), Know Your Client (KYC) and Client Due Diligence (CDD)
Sound and in-depth understanding of the FICA, Anti-Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing Control regulations and FIC guidance notes
Good understanding of Institutional clients KYC
Duties & Responsibilities
Respond promptly and effectively to client queries, ensuring timely resolution.
Advise back-office teams on updates to client investment mandates and oversee the accurate implementation of changes.
Compile and deliver monthly and quarterly reports for all investment clients.
Prepare fund factsheets and customized reports on investment products for clients.
Identify potential risks associated with client onboarding and data management, and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
Support the client-facing team in the onboarding process for new clients and investors.
Clearly communicate the onboarding process and manage client expectations throughout the journey.
Maintain a strong understanding of CDD/AML procedures and ensure high-risk cases are appropriately escalated and signed off.
Apply a risk-based approach independently when reviewing CDD documentation.
Deliver a seamless, high-quality onboarding and offboarding experience for clients.
Perform both basic and enhanced KYC due diligence for new and existing clients.
Conduct screenings against sanctions lists and perform risk assessments of clients.
Report any suspicious or unusual transactions or activity to the Compliance Manager promptly.
Ensure client records are accurate and up to date, and perform regular client refresh and maintenance as required.
Manage and maintain FICA and KYC documentation, overseeing the end-to-end process and ongoing reviews.
Provide input and support for FICA-related initiatives and projects.
Stay informed of regulatory changes and evolving requirements related to client KYC.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and both internal and external stakeholders.
Meet service level agreements to ensure client expectations are consistently met and managed.
Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks as necessary.
Remain up to date with Momentum Investments' products and process changes to effectively handle client inquiries.
Support and champion change initiatives, providing specialist assistance where needed.
Contribute to a culture that promotes collaboration, constructive feedback, and exceptional client service.
