Job Description


Our client in the Telecommunications services industry is currently looking for a Client/Sales Manager, in Sandton, Johannesburg.Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their business goals and internet service needs.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to assess their satisfaction levels, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, promptly responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues or escalations.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, business reviews, and presentations to showcase new products, services, and promotions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, acquire new clients, and expand market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying potential clients.
  • Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase our services and value proposition.
  • Prepare and negotiate sales proposals, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as technical experts and product managers, to ensure the delivery of customized solutions aligned with client requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor and analyse client usage patterns, service performance, and billing to identify opportunities for upselling and renewal.
  • Proactively address client concerns, resolve service-related issues, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess client satisfaction, identify expansion opportunities, and gather feedback for service improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities in the ISP sector.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential target segments and customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities using CRM software.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, performance dashboards, and forecasts for management review.
Requirements:
  • General Qualification in Sales (Degree/Advanced Diploma) an advantage.
  • 4 - 8 years work experience in a high-performance sales management/team lead environment.
  • At least 2 years work experience in ISP.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Google Workplace skills.
  • Self-motivated efficient individual.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to work well in teams and independently.
  • Good partner relationship building and engagement skills.
  • Ability to comfortably engage at an executive level.
Remuneration:
  • R35 000 - R55 000 per month.
