Clinical Network Coordinator - RosebankFull job descriptionJob title: Clinical Network CoordinatorReporting to: Clinical Network LeadLocation: JohannesburgStart date: ASAP ABOUT HEALTHFORCE Welcome to Healthforce. We're a health tech company with a big dream: to lower the cost of quality care and improve health outcomes in Africa. We're not saying we're the whole solution, but with our blend of tech and human touch, we're proud to be playing our part. We've rolled out a couple of digital products. The first is one that empowers clinic-based nurses to manage their practices, better serve patients and connect instantly with telemedicine doctors. This product has materially lowered the cost of access, bringing more efficient care to 4 million consultations in 500 clinic rooms across South Africa. We've also launched the Kena Health smartphone app, that offers purely virtual medical and mental health services. With a stellar 4.8xefxb8x8f rating and the title of number one healthcare app in the Google Play store and MTN App of the Year 2023, Kena Health is providing access to quality services at a fraction of the cost of a local doctor. We're excited to be a part of South Africa's health tech revolution. Along with our key partners and investors, we've got plans to focus our efforts even more around system change. WHAT YOU WILL DOHealthforce is a lean, low ego, highly skilled team of multidisciplinary experts, including healthcare, product, engineering, analytics, organisational development and training. We always start with what our customers need and work as a team to deliver from there. As a Clinical Network Coordinator you will be responsible for operational support to the clinical practice that delivers exceptional care through our Healthforce solutions. This role delivers a diverse range of activities from scheduling, assisting clinicians with practice administration, managing clinician communication and clinical reporting. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Clinician practice administration. The role requires acute attention to detail in administering the clinical practice. This includes ensuring the clinical practice, its clinicians and the Healthforce clinician database are always up to date with clinician personal details, legal registrations, and medical insurance compliance. Documenting practice processes and maintaining practice records is vital. Daily operational support. This includes scheduling clinician shifts using our proprietary scheduling algorithm, and answering practice-related queries. You will also be responsible for monitoring low clinician ratings and coordinating their immediate resolution with clinical leadership - critical to ensuring that the people we serve are kept satisfied. Communicating with clinicians. You will need to establish regular communication with clinicians to ensure the smooth running of the clinical practice and an exceptional service for the patients for whom we care. This includes monthly reporting, regular email updates, daily (and hourly) system and scheduling updates, as well as coordinating clinician meetings and team-builds. Continuous improvement. You will collate and use data driven insights to drive continuous improvement in the way the clinical network operates. You will also use your insights to inform improvements in Healthforces product and service experiences. This includes sharing insights from the clinicians with the business, and allowing us to remain close to the customer and their needs. Importantly, you need to be socially minded and should want to apply your creativity and skills to reimagining the way healthcare can be delivered to all South Africans through technology. WHO YOU ARE We need someone who has at least 3 years experience in practice management or customer support, preferably in a startup or SME, supporting a growing organisation and building procedures and processes to streamline the area. You should have a proven track record of coordinating groups; problem-solving and critical thinking skills; meticulous attention to detail; and effective prioritisation abilities in an agile environment. You should demonstrate resilience and a strong sense of personal responsibility handling demanding and evolving situations while maintaining high-quality work standards. You should have a relevant undergraduate diploma or degrees and have a good working knowledge of MS Office or Google workspace. Skills in communication, presentation, reporting, as well as in active listening, are necessary. WHY HEALTHFORCE? At Healthforce, you're not just joining a company; you're joining a cause. We're a low-ego team of individuals who have a passion for the purpose, even when we are in over our heads. We sustain our focus through a strong culture of valuing people, pulling together, creating better ways and feeding our relentless individual and collective curiosity. Our team is distributed across multiple countries and many cities. We use modern tools and infrastructure so some of our team can work from anywhere.
