Job Description

  • Do clinical placements according to curriculum guidelines.
  • Capture work-integrated learning data for undergraduate and postgraduate.
  • Keep record of work-integrated learning data.
  • Report issues and challenges at least weekly.
  • Generate monthly work-integrated learning reports for the purpose of student monitoring.
  • Assist in creating and setting up a clinical placement system.
  • Maintain/develop clear communication channels with students.
  • Attend to student placement enquiries expeditiously.
  • Coordinate students' placement activities.
  • Provide student support in relation to placements.
Inherent Job requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree or B Tech degree on NQF level 7 in a Health Sciences related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year' experience related to the duties and responsibilities.
Recommendations:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Background on nursing training requirements will be an added advantage.
