- Set, implement and manage operational clinical plans aligned with Emergency Medicine strategy
- Oversee clinical performance in the emergency medical environment and provide operational support
- Provide specialist expertise and support to emergency centres
- Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships
- Minimum 5 to 10 years clinical experience, of which 3 - 5 should be in a Specialist function/SME-role such as Unit or branch Manager, Patient Safety, Risk Management
- Experience in the private emergency medicine environment
- Adverse events framework and grading of patient safety related incidents
- Computer literacy (MS Office package)
- Continuous quality improvement methodologies
- Data analysis and interpretation skills
- Emergency Medicine
- Legislative requirements and accreditation standards
- Patient safety, quality improvement and quality assurance methodologies
- Private healthcare industry
- Project Management methodologies
- Report writing
- Risk management systems and processes, e.g. audits, CURA, Event Management System
- Stakeholder management
