Perform requested technical jobs within the Hospital
Identify and control risk in the technical environment within the Hospital
Coordinate / manage work done by on-site contractors within the Hospital
Perform office administration duties within Technical Department
Build and maintain stakeholder relations and client service within the Technical DepartmentREQUIRED EDUCATIONESSENTIAL EDUCATION: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering: light current or clinical engineering
DESIRED EDUCATION: Diploma in Clinical EngineeringREQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MININUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year experiential training within Mediclinic OR 1 year Clinical Engineering experience within healthcare industry
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 3 years Clinical Engineering experience within healthcare industryREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Financial principles (of cost benefit and investment analysis)
• Infection control
• Mediclinic Policies and Procedures (e.g. utilisation of test equipment)
• Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Planned Maintenance procedures (Medical equipment and X ray)
• SAP and Utilisation of SAP reports
