Clinical Training Specialist
Job Description
Requirements:
Diploma/ Degree in Nursing
Diploma in Clinical Care
Must be registered with SANC.
ICU Trained
Experience in Clinical Training Specialist (advantageous)
Specific knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing the
practice of nursing.
Proven clinical leadership expertise is important.
Understanding of change and management principles
Facilitation and assessment skills
Responsibilities and duties:
Identification of training needs in the facility
Provision of training to nursing staff
Competence screening of new employees
Plan & implement training schedules
Plan and coordinate CPD and other programs for qualified nurses within the Nursing Standards
Monitoring client care
Liaising with multidisciplinary team
Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing education/ clinical facilitation
Postgraduate qualification in nurse education
Own car and driver's license
