Client based in Gauteng is seeking a Cloud Architect to oversee cloud computing architecture through deployment, management, and support for cloud applicationsResponsibilities:Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on building cloud infrastructure and the design of cloud migration solutionsModernizing and migrating on prem workloads to cloudKnowledge and experience in building and managing cloud and hybrid solutions in Azure and M365Thorough understanding of enterprise IT Strategies and ConceptsProven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentDrive the development of robust cloud hosting architectureImplement industry best practice frameworks and controls on their servicesAdministration of technical documentation, bulletins and release notes for known problemsSupporting the Support Staff in resolving ticketsCommunicate areas for improvement to management to improve the overall integrity and functionality of the environment in the organizationFollow-up on technical cases including escalation and management of the case until case closure.Requirements:Tertiary IT qualification and matric with 4 years+ experience as a Support Engineer with emphasis on Microsoft productsAzure Solutions Architect CertificationAzure Administrator CertificationMicrosoft Associate certificationCisco networking certificationToGAF Level 1 CertifiedEperience in provisioning, configuring and maintaining cloud computing servicesImplementation of Cloud Adoption FrameworksPrevious exposure to support roles and IT Service management (ITIL) methodologiesWorking knowledge of applicable data privacy and security practices and lawsExperience with performance optimization and capacity planning of virtualized environments.Knowledge of SAN storage and backup environment administrationWorking knowledge of cloud security conceptsSolid working knowledge of current ICT technologies across a wide variety of technical disciplinesExperience supporting Microsoft technology, including, but not limited to: Windows Server and Client OS, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, SQL, IIS, DNS, and DHCPExpert knowledge of Cloud Hosting Platforms, App Modernization, Automation across Web, APIs, Databases and operating systems3+ years of experience designing and supporting Azure environments, including IaaS and PaaSPlease note only shortlisted candidates will be contacthttps://www.manpower.co.za/job-listings
