SUMMARY:
Public Cloud Solution Architect (Sales/BD) - Southern AfricaPOSITION INFO:Huawei Technologies South Africa is seeking a dynamic and experienced Solution Architect to join our Cloud Business Department. If you are passionate about cloud technologies and want to play a critical role in shaping the future of cloud solutions, this opportunity is for you.Key Responsibilities:Lead pre-sales technical communications with key customers, understanding their opportunities and business needs.Design solutions based on Huawei cloud products and services, including requirement analysis, solution design, POC verification, and IT cloud solutions for public cloud projects.Drive the migration and delivery of public cloud products and solutions, ensuring successful project execution.Collaborate with Sales BD, R&D, SRE, and other teams to ensure the continuous operation of key customer accounts.Provide insights and recommendations based on regional and industry-specific requirements to enhance product competitiveness.Qualifications and Skills:Technical Skills:Experience designing cloud solutions for large-scale data centers is a plus.Strong technical background with a good understanding of data, platforms, and technologies.Familiarity with cloud services and an understanding of CIOs'' IT evolution requirements and pain points.Professional Knowledge:Expertise in public cloud/private cloud functions, principles, and architectures, with some programming or development experience.Experience in cloud migration methods and processes; full life-cycle project experience is preferred.Knowledge of public cloud solutions in various industries (finance, internet, manufacturing, energy, healthcare, government, etc.).Background in project planning, implementation, and O&M in virtualization and cloud environments is a plus.Pre-sales consulting, architecture design, and customer system migration experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle VM, OpenStack, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud management is preferred.Education & Qualifications:Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Computer Science, Software , Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.Certifications in AWS, Microsoft, or **Google Cloud Solutions Architect will be an advantage.Required Experience:At least 2-3 years of experience in Public Cloud solutions, preferably with relevant industry expertise.If you are a results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for cloud technology, we would love to hear from you!
