Job SummaryThe Cluster Commercial Director is responsible for leading the commercial strategy of multiple 5-star hotels within a cluster. This role oversees sales, marketing, revenue management, and distribution strategies to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability. The director collaborates closely with hotel leadership teams to drive business performance and ensure alignment with brand standards and strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities:1. Commercial Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy for all hotels within the cluster.
  • Drive revenue growth across all business segments (corporate, leisure, MICE, F&B, and ancillary services).
  • Ensure synergy between sales, marketing, revenue management, and distribution strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to optimize pricing and positioning.
  • Establish KPIs and performance benchmarks to measure commercial success.
2. Sales & Business Development
  • Lead and oversee the sales team across the cluster to achieve revenue targets.
  • Strengthen relationships with key corporate clients, travel agencies, MICE planners, and luxury concierge services.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market share.
  • Oversee contract negotiations with corporate accounts, tour operators, and distribution partners.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for international markets.
3. Revenue & Yield Management
  • Work closely with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution channels.
  • Implement dynamic pricing strategies based on demand forecasting and revenue analytics.
  • Ensure effective rate structures and promotions to drive occupancy and ADR (Average Daily Rate).
  • Align revenue strategies with seasonality, events, and local demand fluctuations.
4. Marketing, Branding & Digital Strategy
  • Oversee brand positioning, digital marketing, and social media campaigns for the cluster.
  • Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to enhance visibility and direct bookings.
  • Manage relationships with PR agencies, influencers, and media partners to enhance brand presence.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging, advertising, and promotional materials.
  • Monitor and optimize ROI on marketing spend across various channels.
5. Distribution & Channel Management
  • Optimize distribution strategies across OTA platforms, GDS, direct booking channels, and third-party partners.
  • Strengthen loyalty programs and direct booking incentives to increase customer retention.
  • Work with IT and e-commerce teams to enhance the hotel's online presence and booking experience.
  • Ensure alignment with global distribution and brand standards.
6. Financial Management & Reporting
  • Develop and manage the commercial budget for the cluster, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Analyze P&L statements, revenue forecasts, and performance reports to drive strategic decisions.
  • Report on market conditions, competitive positioning, and revenue trends to stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices in cost control, contract negotiations, and business optimization.
7. Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales, marketing, and revenue teams across the cluster.
  • Foster a culture of performance, innovation, and customer excellence.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team capabilities in sales, marketing, and revenue strategies.
  • Ensure teams are aligned with brand standards and company objectives.
