A renowned foundry is looking for a skilled CNC Machine Shop Manager to lead operations for vertical lathes and milling machines in a high-efficiency production environment. This role is key to streamlining production schedules, managing resources, maintaining quality standards, and enhancing overall machining efficiency.Education:

• A technical qualification

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 10+ years of experience in heavy industry & manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in CNC programming, CAD/CAM software, and conventional machining.
• Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Syspro, or SAP ERP is advantageous.
• Plan, implement, and optimize production schedules based on machine availability and utilization.
• Manage human and material resources to meet production targets effectively.
• Oversee equipment use, maintenance, and procurement to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
• Develop and implement process improvements for maximum efficiency.
• Optimize CNC programs across various components to ensure precision and performance.
• Lead interviewing, coaching, and training initiatives for employees.
• Maintain comprehensive machine specifications, programming notes, and quality control records.
• Ensure strict quality assurance and compliance throughout the production process.
• Act as a custodian for machine shop stock and consumables, preventing stock shortages.
• Oversee machinery troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure all machines function optimally.
