Job Summary Nature of employment:
The successful incumbent will be employed on a permanent basis after completion of a probationary period.Experience
The successful incumbent must possess at least two (2) years of relevant experience within engineering and machining.Formal qualifications

• Grade 12 (a technical qualification would be beneficial)
• Certificate or diploma in engineering will be advantageous
• Valid driving license code 08
• A valid Turner Certificate
• A valid medical certificate certifying the incumbents fitness status to work in a mechanical environment

Responsibilities

• Applying Femco, Po Ly Gim and Greenway CNC programming and operating techniques
• Working on lathe, conventional and CNC machines
• Set-up and operate CNC machines according to specifications
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company
• Oversee the machines while they execute tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
• Ability to read and understand machines and drawings
• Enforcement of quality procedures and processes
• Managing and measuring instruments and hand tools
• Ensure machines are maintained and in a good, safe operational condition
