Cobol Software Development Manager

Job Description
We are looking for a Cobol Software Development Manager for a fully in-office role in the beautiful town of Ladybrand in the Free State.Main Purpose of the Position:
- Identify new IT technological opportunities
- Management and coordination of projects, including maintenance, development and implementation of software systems
- Relevant Bachelors degree or similar tertiary qualification or experience in IT Software Development
- Relevant Qualification or experience in financial accounting
- Minimum 10 years' experience in software development
- Minimum 5 years' experience management experience
- Oversee IT Software software development projects by evaluating and managing business priorities, assigning tasks to IT programmers, and ensuring efficient use of IT resources
- Coordinate and plan IT software development projects, including approving and finalizing technical specifications
- Coordinate and oversee testing during the implementation of IT software development projects
- Communicate with the business stakeholders regarding IT software development projects
