Job Description
The Production Transport Department requires an experienced, professional, attention to detail and dedicated individual to join the Production Transport team as a Code 14 Driver. The successful candidate will report to the Logistics Manager.RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Day-to-day inspection of the vehicle and to report any faults
- Loading and off-loading of various recyclable materials
- Ensure the safety of other road users
- Strictly ensure adherence to National Road Traffic Act
- Abide by the regulations as set out in Occupational Health and Safety Act, company policies and the regulations of the road
- Work Long Hours when required
- Ensure cleanliness of Company Vehicles
- Must have a valid, unendorsed Code 14 license with a (valid) PRDP
- You will need to be willing to work long hours and be of sober habits
- Motivated and career orientated
- Good communication skills, (speak, read and write English)
- Prepared to work overtime
- Prepared for long distance driving with possible overnight stays
- Must be in good health
- Hands on practical approach to the job
- Minimum of 5 years' experience
- Excellent state of Health
- Great customer skills
