Job Description
Our clients' business product offerings have grown significantly over the years, leading to the development of the Broker-Tied Agent Model. The incumbent of this position will be responsible for growing and developing the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance.
The individual will sell personal lines and Commercial lines by prospecting and canvassing for new business sales.
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate
- Must be fluent in speaking Afrikaans
- Must have your own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access to the vehicle
- Valid code B drivers license
- 3 years of external sales experience in a face-to-face selling environment
- Experience in lead generation, cold calling, relationship management and opening doors
Should you have previous experience as a FAIS representative the following is non-negotiable:
- FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on Dofa)
- RE5 (depending on Dofa)
- Fuel card, company laptop and a cell phone
