Our client is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Commercial Controller to join their dynamic team at an international mining company. You will play a key part in automating order processes, managing contracts and vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance within a robust digital procure-to-pay system. • Analyse spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strategies for spend reduction.
• Monitor working capital metrics to enhance liquidity and manage inventory levels to minimize excess stock.
• Leading the integration of order automation systems, streamline procurement processes and oversee contract management to ensure compliance with terms and negotiate favourable agreements.
• Establishing strong vendor relationships, monitoring performance, and ensuring a best-in-class digital procure-to-pay system with governance compliance.
• Responsible for ensuring that goods and supplies are purchased and delivered at the most competitive prices and are of the required quality.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Finance or relevant qualification.
• 8 12 years of total experience in procurement or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft excel.
