  • Securing strategic sponsorships for specific available properties.
  • Thought leadership and information dissemination within business.
  • Manage relationships with clients and provide research and reporting.
  • Manage the Client engagement strategy with all stakeholders.
  • Stadium commercialisation, maximise the asset output.
  • New business development initiatives within the Stadium and Team space.
  • New Commercial strategies and initiatives driven by market insight and change.
  • Implementing new commercial initiatives with specific focus on new revenue in the digital world.
  • New revenue strategies with specific focus on digitalising the BBCO and Loftus platform.
  • Staff management.
  • Stakeholder and Relationship management.
  • Extensive client relationship management across all levels within the external environment specific focus on senior strategic individuals.
  • Managing client expectations to ensure client retention.
  • Sponsorship contract management.
Financial Management
  • Drafting of budgets.
  • Manage budgets effectively and efficiently.
  • To deliver profitable projects.
  • Full financial management including the income aspects of the projects.
  • Apply cost saving techniques to maximize on profits.
  • Financial reporting.
  • Timely invoicing of client aligned to contracts.
  • Management of income and cost management.
New Strategic Revenue initiatives on:
  • Stadium offering
  • Team(s) offering
  • Hospitality facility /Suite sales
  • Office Space
  • Sponsorship sales
  • Ticketing
  • Digital offerings (content, e-commerce, streaming)
  • New Events
  • New revenue
  • All Contract management
Minimum RequirementsQualifications
  • Relevant degree or tertiary qualification in financial and/ or strategic management
  • CA degree would be an added advantage.
Experience
  • At least 3 years experience in a Senior management position.
  • Need solid hands-on experience with large multiple supplier accounts and working within a pressurised streamline environment.
  • A proven track record in managing internal operations and processes.
  • Demonstrate leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
  • Knowledge and passion for sport. Understanding of the commercial side of entertainment and sporting industry.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Understanding of market/ industry trends in sponsorship and sport commerce, specifically to do with sport brands and stadium commercialization.
  • Ability to interpret research with specific regard to audiences, demographics, and lifestyle measures in a specific supporter base/ interest group.
  • Understanding the relationship between sponsors, broadcasters, and rights holders.
  • Ability to create tailored right packages for specific brands/ sponsors.
  • The understanding of the value of individual rights within a sponsorship rights package.
  • Ability to conceptualise, present, implementation and manage business process.
  • The ability to create and implement sound processes and management reporting structures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • People management skills.
  • Project management and problem analysis and solving.
  • Interpersonal sensitivity.
  • Self-motivated challenge oneself by setting high targets for work deliverables regardless of the amount of supervision offered
  • Sound judgement comfortable in ability and knowledge to make the right decision
