Proudly Produce, a successful and growing fruit export company based in Stellenbosch, has a vacancy for a Commercial Manager. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Senior Commercial Manager to oversee domestic and export accounts for stone fruit and lead new development initiatives within our Citrus category.Duties will include (but not be limited to): *Management of stone fruit export retail accounts UK, EU, AF, Islands *Management of domestic accounts: Spar, Freshmark, Food Lovers Market and Nile *Estimates and orders *Stock and cost management *Planning and executing logistics *Management of load outs and instructions *Coordinating with logistics team loading, departures and arrivals *Pricing, costings and coordinating with commercial admin team for invoices and credits *Reporting *Stock control and packing instructions *Order management *Manage equipment and packing material *Develop current and emerging markets *Develop and execute procurement strategy with Senior Commercial Manager *Procure citrus products per pre-season plans and ensure season requirements are met *Build and maintain relationships with growers *Facilitate communication between packhouse and admin team *Oversee quality assurance on farms, in packhouses, and cold rooms with Quality Assurance Manager *Perform market analysis on product availability, supply changes, and trends *Price negotiation *All other tasks related to this role.Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture;
5 years experience in a similar role in the fruit export industry and logistics;
Excellent computer literacy (MS Office);
Excellent organisational and administrative skills;
Valid license and own vehicle;
Willingness to travel nationally and abroad;
