Responsibilities: Identify new business opportunities
Research new markets and potential services to offer
Build relationships
Maintain relationships with clients, credit providers and other business partners
Create business strategies
Develop plans to stimulate company growth, including sales projections and revenue forecasts
Oversee product development
Ensure the dealership has a well-rounded inventory that meets market demand, be knowledgeable of all products features and benefits of all the dealership as well as how they compare to competitorsxe2x80x99 products
Negotiate rates
Negotiate rates with customers and suppliers of credit
Develop proposals
Create customized proposals to meet client needs
Manage schedules
Manage your schedule efficiently
Maintain records
Keep accurate administrative records
Report sales
Report sales results to the relevant Sales Manager
Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years in same or similar role as Business Development Officer / F&I experience in a Commercial Motor Industry environment
Excellent understanding of automotive industry
Goal / driven
Commercial Vehicle experience ESSENTIAL!!!
