Tracking inventory

• Keeping track of current production levels, incoming and outgoing materials, and stock status

Managing orders

• Reviewing purchase orders, signing off on shipments, and placing orders for more inventory

Inventory booking out

• Ensure that inventory for current job cards in the workshop are accurately booked out and inventory on hand is updated

Inventory stock-out

• Limit the number of occasions that stock items are unavailable due to xe2x80x9cout of stockxe2x80x9d as the implications of unplanned downtimes the amount of downtime caused by spare parts not being available. Reducing this downtime is crucial for improving operational efficiency and minimizing the impact on project timelines (services and routine maintenance)

Inventory Parts Availability Rate

• Spare parts availability rate measures the percentage of time that the right parts are available when needed for repairs or scheduled service and maintenance. High availability is essential for minimizing delays in maintenance tasks. Ensuring operational efficiencies in the workshop

Maintaining inventory

• Ensuring each item has an accurate count and checking if anything is missing or damaged

Organizing inventory

• Organizing additional spares inventory for easy restocking
• Inventory control is the process of managing and tracking store inventory to maintain a balance between supply and demand, ensuring that there is always stock on hand

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years in same or similar role as Spares Store Clerk with experience in a Commercial Motor Industry environment
• Excellent understanding of automotive trucking industry
• Commercial Vehicle experience ESSENTIAL!!!
