Requirements
- Grade 12
- Qualified Mechanic Artisan or Engineering Qualification
- 8 - 10 yrs experience in technical environment
- 5 years management experience
- Managing large staff
- Tertiary qualification in Road Transport Management Advantage
- Track record managing a large workshop with commercial vehicles
- Manage complete technical function in business unit
- Deadlines and quality standards are met
- Maintenance of facilities, tool and equipment
- Manage and develop technical personnel
- Manage department budget and targets
- Control warrant/maintenance processes/systems and audits
- Compliance of Occupational health and Safety
- Service and maintenance of all customer fleets
- Manage all service levels/quality requirements by respective OEM's
- Travel within company operational areas
- Required to work long hours when required
