Job Description
Responsibilities:
Routine maintenance
- Checking oil, lubrication, batteries, nuts and bolts, and other items
- Using advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues in a vehicle
- Fixing damaged electrical components and parts, and repairing or replacing worn parts like brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors
- Taking steps to prevent new problems from developing
- Explaining automotive problems and repairs to clients
- Issuing quotes to customers
- Performing tasks from routine services to complete engine rebuilds
- Reading and understanding operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Minimum of 3-5 years in same or similar role as Truck Mechanic / Service Advisor experience in a Commercial Motor Industry environment
- Excellent understanding of automotive trucking industry
- Commercial Vehicle experience ESSENTIAL!!!
