Requirements
A matric/grade 12 plus relevant event and/or commercial
specific tertiary qualification(s)
Minimum 5 years event and commercial experience in stadium
or large venue environment
Experience in managing commercial service providers in a
major stadium or major event environment
Experience in budget management and reconciliation of 3rd
party revenues and expenses, managing tenders, portfolio
management and client relationship management and
business development
Management experience in B2B environment, business
networking, contract management and project management
Must be prepared to work overtime, after hours, weekends
and public holidays
Computer literacy (office applications)
A valid code B drivers licence and Professional Drivers Permit
(own transport)
Key Performance Areas
Supports the commercialisation manager through the
management and implementation of allocated commercial
activities and services providers
Grows the revenue streams for the CTS
Liaises with local, national and international clients in a
customer centric way
Contributes to the development of the commercialisation
strategy and executes the strategy of the Cape Town Stadium.
Manages implementation of commercialisation projects
Creates the specifications of tenders
Builds and maintains commercial stakeholder relations
Manages all appointed service providers
Promotes and tracks the sale of CTS inventory
Ensures that administrative processes are adhered to in order
to maintain the integrity of information, records and
administrative processes.
Identifies commercial trends based on real data
Manages the process of 3rd party revenue reconciliations
