Job Description


A Stunning Wine Farm is looking for a COMMIS CHEFCandidate Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Must have a Culinary qualification
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Must have a clear understanding of dietaries and nutrition
  • Must follow excellent hygiene practices
  • Should be highly organized with great attention to detail
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Should have good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Must be creative and passionate about food
  • Should continually stay abreast of trends
  • Must be able to confidently assist in any other sections of the kitchen
  • Should be able to ensure the smooth running in the absence of Chef de Partie
  • Must ensure that all company policies, procedures & SOPs are adhered to
  • Should be an excellent team player
  • Must be able to work shifts
  • Should be friendly, presentable and a well-spoken individual
