Position: CommisKey Responsibilities:- Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes and standards set by the company- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies- Collaborate with the team to create new and innovative menu items- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and dietary restrictions- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance culinary skills and knowledge- Adhere to all company policies and proceduresQualifications:- Previous experience as a Commis or in a similar role in a professional kitchen- Formal culinary training or degree in Culinary Arts is preferred- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
