This role will assist in creating compelling content, managing social media, conducting research, and supporting events to ensure clear, consistent, and impactful communication across all channels. The intern will play a key role in maintaining brand integrity, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and driving engagement through effective storytelling and strategic messaging.About you:Siemens South Africa is on the lookout for a passionate individual eager to grow and thrive within a dynamic team.   • Assist in developing and managing an editorial content calendar.
  • Support the development of engaging content for internal platforms.
  • Write, edit, and review content for various communication deliverables.
  • Provide hands-on support to Business Partners for communications projects as needed.
  • Research industry trends and data to create insightful social media content.
  • Conduct market and media research to monitor and track PR and marketing KPIs.
  • Coordinate with the communications team and other internal corporate functions to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to communications.
  • Support and assist in planning, logistics, coordination, and execution of internal, external, and company-wide events and experiences.
  • Engages with internal stakeholders to determine event requirements.
  • Develops briefing details for events and manages co-ordination of events with external vendors.
  • Guides vendors/ external stakeholders on creative event ideas, concepts and logistics.
  • Managing marketing merchandise and collateral.
  • Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations that align with corporate branding.
  • Create, design, and edit content using tools like Photoshop, Canva, and video editing programs (Plus).
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations or relevant field is preferred.
  • Minimum experience: 1 2 years

  • Proven experience as event coordinator (1 - 2 years experiences).
  • Articulate with great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record of organizing successful events.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
