Compliance Manager
Job Description
Are you and experienced and established Senior Compliance professional with exposure to international regulations and a solid track record in managing compliance frameworks and programs?My client, a multinational financial technology company delivering financial services to consumers and merchants in Southern Africa is currently looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Compliance Manager to join their ever-growing Compliance Department.The successful contender would be an individual who has advanced experience leading compliance programmes in South Africa and the rest of Africa, someone who has initiated compliance engagements and programmes and has experience with ethics and compliance risks.Duties:
- Compliance with the NCA, FAIS, FICA, POPIA
- Implementation of the Risk Management and Compliance (RMCP) program
- Plan and execute compliance reviews
- Draft reports
- Manage areas of critical non-compliance
- Undertake regular compliance training or awareness initiatives
- Design, development and delivery of compliance awareness and training interventions
- Assist with the annual SOX process
- Ensuring policies, account policy & procedure manuals are reviewed and maintained
- BCom degree, LLB or similar
- CISA Membership (preferred)
- Min 6 years experience
- Compliance exposure within Financial Services OR Insurance
- SOX Act, FICA or AML
- Min 2 years managerial experience - not negotiable
