Compliance Officer (fruit Industry)

Job Description
Requirements / The Ideal Candidate should have at least the following:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a fruit production compliance environment
- Good working knowledge of GlobalGAP and related add-ons
- Good working knowledge of SIZA sustainability protocols (ethical & environmental)
- An Agriculture orientated qualification will be beneficial
- Good knowledge of food safety protocols like BRC
- Good interpersonal skills (fluent in Afrikaans and English)
- Must be computer literate
- Medically fit to perform the duties as required
- Valid Drivers license
- Assisting producers / Kromco with accreditations as listed above
- Monitoring Plant Protection Product (PPP) Safety
- Manage environmental monitoring systems on farms
- Administrate company food safety documentation system
- Statutory Compliance (Special Export Markets)
- Commercial Due Diligence and Communication
