Component Tracker
Job Description
Job Summary: The Component Tracker will be responsible for monitoring and tracking the progress of various components through different stages of the manufacturing process. This role requires timely and accurate data input to ensure that components are moving according to schedule, ensuring proper t iming for completion and delivery. The Component Tracker will need to move throughout the shop f loor, carry materials and components, and assist in the transportation of these materials as needed. The individual must also be proficient with computers to perform data updates and tracking tasks.Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments is advantageous.Computer Literacy: Proficiency with data entry, tracking software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).Physical Requirements: Ability to move and carry materials and components; lift up to 25 kg as needed.Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy in tracking and reporting.Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with different departments.Competencies: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Problem-solving mindset to manage delays and inefficiencies. Flexibility to work on the shop floor and handle physical tasks.
